Job Description : About the Role:
The demand for treatment for behavioral health issues continues to increase across the US. As a result, Mindpath Health is experiencing tremendous growth and expansion and is on target to become a leader in outpatient behavioral health services that blend human connection with science-based care.
The Treasury Accountant will be a professional within the Finance organization responsible for monitoring the cash flow of a company daily, making periodic analysis, by using certain investment skills and business acumen. This person will partner with the company’s auditors (both internal and external) to ensure that all transactions having to do with treasury is recorded correctly and in accordance with laid down standards.
Responsibilities
Responsible for cash management, cash flow reporting, and cash projection
Ensure the coordination of the statutory audit, year in year out, and resolve all possible queries
Ensure the efficient management of company’s bank accounts
Maintain and manage all financial records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers
Ensure the company’s banking operations; seeing to it that all funds are appropriately banked ensuring efficiency and returns
Ensure conformity of company’ bank account with IFR Standards. Reconciling of bank statements against the GL, and clearing accounts assigned
Provide inputs and advice to company. This could include recommending changes that will maximize revenue and profit
Secures financial information by completing database backups
Maintains financial security by following internal controls
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
Prepares special financial and operational reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Maintains confidentiality and protects business records by keeping financial and all information confidential, only shared within scope of position as necessary
Requirements:
BS degree; strong preference for accounting major, or Finance with an Accounting minor
5+ years treasury and accounting experience, specifically to include treasury cash management, debt management or foreign exchange transaction management or technical hands-on experience
You have demonstrated analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
ERP or complex financial systems experience; strong preference for SAP
Demonstrated hands-on independent organizational and project management skills, including managing multiple competing priorities. Prefer entrepreneurial company environment experience
Proficiency in Excel [prefer pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros or similar], Word, and PowerPoint.
Microsoft Access or similar database/application expertise preferred.
