Job Description : Job Summary:
Responsible for Software development for Electrical Industrial Controls products as part of Industrial Control Division(ICD), which is part of Control Protection Division (CPD) of Americas electrical sector business. This includes leading a team of talented Software Engineers developing and validating the Windows based Desktop Applications, WebUI, Mobile Applications and Software Utilities for configuring, commissioning, monitoring the industrial automation related electrical products. Shape up the proposals to make the tools super intuitive, builds business models to generate revenues using software, and drives the culture of innovation and engineering software products. Enrich & foster climate of innovation to drive growth & accelerate capability development. Builds high performing team. Collaborate with global product engineering team and perform software development activities during project execution. Perform technical reviews including detailed design and code reviews.

CPD has business worth $1.2B and is focused on offering customers the right set of smart, connected components to form a complete solution to meet their application needs. This division is working in three integrated businesses: Power Components, Industrial Control and Bussmann fuses.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead a team by understanding the business strategies and identify priorities for software. Builds a solid rapport with global stakeholders and seek responsibilities. Partner with Platform Teams and ensures the rapid adoption, contributing back and aligning the schedules. Establish the urgency whenever needed and seek quicker turnaround for the prioritized issues with almost quality and documentation in terms of release notes, user guides and seeks the acceptance feedback from marketing. Develop the capabilities by reskilling team members, hiring talent and creating standard operating procedures. Ensure quality of delivery in accordance with the plan adhering to the standard practices used in agile/waterfall model. Perform code reviews with team members for modules/tasks and ensuring that best practices and efficient coding standards are adhered to GIT. Ensures compliance with Agile Scrum process and agile ceremonies/work products, Management standards and guidelines

12+ years of overall experience including 4+ years of experience as Manager and 6-8 years of hands-on expertise in C#, WPF, desktop Application, Mobile Apps development, Azure Cloud.
Creates live dashboards and communicates uniformly by report outs with bug tracking, requirements test case management and collaboration tools.
Develops the Continuous Integration /Continuous Development using Bamboo and focuses on program and design reviews and engineering work packages.
Understand customer requirements and communicate them to teams, and act as the liaison for program activities as appropriate.
Trains, develops, and motivates subordinates to achieve their performance goals and review their accomplishments and conducts performance reviews. Recruit and retain a team of engineers.
Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide regular reports on development and support activities.
Provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work.
Review technical concepts of projects including equipment specification and design
Synergies and leverages engineering capabilities across groups.
Manages department budget and performance to forecast.
Manages and develops people identifies, attracts, and develops key engineering talent for the organization.
Excellent communications skills, global exposure, high degree of aptitude, creativity is required.
Experience in FDT DTM technology.
Exposure of working on industrial automation domain software product line.
Certified SCRUM Master, Design Thinking practioner.
Education level required
B.E. Computer Science, IT
